Quality and environment

Quality policy

At Eiffage Génie Civil in Norway we recognise that we leave a lasting impression on the landscape, so it is critically important to us that our projects are delivered to the highest quality. This means doing everything we can to get things right first time, to avoid the need for re-work, to minimise ongoing maintenance and to reduce, as far as possible, any disruption to stakeholders.

Our quality policy lays out our intent to delivering projects of the highest possible quality, it is based around our business values of:

  • Leading by example
  • Courage and fighting-spirit
  • Responsibility
  • Lucidity
  • Trust
  • Transparency

Supporting our quality policy, we have had our IMS certified to ISO9001:2015. Regular audits and inspections of our processes and procedures, as well as our physical activities, ensure that we are able to deliver optimum effectiveness and efficiency to assist us with our pursuit of complete stakeholder care and customer satisfaction.

Protecting the environment sustainably

Eiffage Génie Civil in Norway is committed to protecting the environment through employing sustainable working methods across all of our work. This is demonstrated through our commitment to playing our part in delivering the Eiffage Group Environmental and Sustainability Strategy and is supported by our Environment and Sustainability Policy.

We rely on our people to bring the ‘Human Perspective’ ethos to all our projects, and in doing so, we commit to creating and sustaining environmentally ethical workplaces and delivering environmentally ethical projects. To ensure that this approach is applied across all our activities, we have established an IMS certified to ISO14001:2015. Through this, we can manage and mitigate any potential risks to the environment in which we work.

Environmental Goals

The Business Management System is designed to help achieve the Environmental Goals set out by the Eiffage Group, which, in turn, are supported by three “Pillars”

  • Low Carbon Construction

innovation and sustainable development

The need for low carbon

With the consequences of climate change becoming an increasingly visible risk to our health and the environment, Eiffage has placed sustainability at the heart of its strategy, harnessing its power of innovation to create more sustainable construction methods and deliver low-carbon cities and infrastructures. Eiffage teams of engineers are fostering, creating and developing new construction methods, types of infrastructure, energy sources and management systems as well as forms of mobility.
