E18 Rugtvedt–Langangen project
The E18 Rugtvedt–Langangen project is a significant infrastructure initiative aimed at enhancing transportation through Norway's Grenland region. - Tunnels: The project includes several tunnels, notably the Bjønnåstunnelen (2.5 km) and the Grenlandstunnelen (5.1 km), which are integral to navigating the region's challenging terrain.
- Bridges: Major structures such as the Grenlandsbrua and Langangsfjordbrua are being constructed to span significant waterways, facilitating seamless connectivity across the landscape.
- Interchanges: New interchanges, including Kjørholtkrysset and Lannerkrysset, are being developed to enhance accessibility and traffic distribution along the E18 corridor.
Eiffage Génie Civil has been entrusted with the design and construction of this project, reflecting the company's expertise in managing complex infrastructure developments. The contract encompasses the creation of 10 kilometers of dual carriageway, featuring extensive tunneling and bridge construction.
