Eiffage is one of Europe’s leading operators in construction and concessions.
Founded in 1993 from the merger of Fougerolle (1844) and SAE (1924), Eiffage has turned into an experienced general contractor capable of delivering the most complex and ambitious projects under a wide range of procurement routes (Bid & Build, Design & Build, ECI, IPD, EPC, P3, etc.). Today, it is one of Europe’s leading operators in construction and concessions.
Eiffage deploys its expertise through four branches, separated into eight business lines: Civil Engineering, Structural Steel, Roads, Construction, Real Estate, Urban Development, Energy Systems, and Concessions.
Eiffage Génie Civil is present in all areas of civil engineering. Our teams are involved from design to construction, in demolition, as well as in repair and maintenance on numerous structures in France and abroad. In Norway, Eiffage Génie Civil is delivering two motorway projects in Norway, E18 Rugtvedt–Langangen and E18/39 E18/39 Gartnerløkka – Kolsdalen, generating 170 million euros in 2024 with a team of 345 employees.

E18 Rugtvedt–Langangen
We are building 17 kilometres of new E18 through the Grenland area, which will open in 2026. The road has four lanes and a speed limit of 110 kilometres per hour.
The traffic flow through Grenland will be much better. It will also be a safer road with shorter travel times. We are building more tunnels and bridges through the area.
E18/E39 Gartnerløkka–Kolsdalen
We are upgrading E18/E39 through Kristiansand between Gartnerløkka and Kolsdalen. This busy section is being completely rebuilt to improve traffic flow, accessibility, and safety in the city centre.
The project includes new roads, bridges, and the extension of an existing tunnel, and will better connect key routes for both local and through traffic. When completed in 2029, it will create a more efficient and modern entrance to Kristiansand.
All our employees are trained for 100% safety
Maintaining physical and moral integrity, protecting the health and guaranteeing the safety of our employees and third parties are core obligations for the Group, not only as an ethical requirement but also to ensure performance.
Since these notions have been part of Eiffage’s DNA for a long time, all our staff have received safety training, especially through the SKC (Safety Knowledge Control) programme set up by the company. Our certified training courses deliver a non-transferrable passport on completion, specifying the employee's safety clearance level. These preliminary training courses have been extended to each site.
